BAE Systems have been awarded an £8 million An Urgent Operational Requirement contract to fit a Helmet Mounted Cueing System (HMCS) to the Royal Air Force Tornado fleet.

The Helmet Mounted Cueing System, which had already been developed and deployed on the Harrier GR9, will now be fitted to the Tornados and will project visual targeting symbols on to the visor of the pilotís helmet, in front of one eye.
